Just In : Chelsea Clinton Sued For Big Bucks For Stealing Man`s Idea

An author is suing Chelsea Clinton for stealing his idea to write her feminist children’s book “She Persisted”.

Christopher Janes Kimberley, 56, filed a lawsuit in a federal court in New York against Chelsea Clinton and Penguin Random House. The accusation is of copyright infringement.

Court documents were obtained and it is shown that he is seeking nearly $150,000 in damages. He also wants any profits from Chelsea’s New York Times best seller.

Kimberley said he wrote an all-ages, three-volume illustrated children’s book ‘A Heart is the Part That Makes Boys And Girls Smart’ in 2013.

Clinton’s book was published on May 30 and is intended for ages four to eight. Kimberley’s book contains 15 quotes and stories from historical figures such as Helen Keller, Harriet Tubman and Nellie Bly in its ‘Quotable Questionnaire’ section. Clinton’s book sports 13 quotes that include those three same women. Coincidence?

Kimberley, allegedly he sent off his book proposal through Facebook to Penguin Random House but he never received any feedback.

He accuses the president of Penguin Young Readers US, Jennifer Loja, upon receipt of the submission she allegedly read it and took his idea to Chelsea Clinton. Kimberley alleges Clinton’s book purposefully infringed upon his proposal by including quotes and stories from the women in featured in his.

Earlier this year, he discovered Clinton’s book. Kimberley said he immediately noticed glaring similarities, most notably from his ‘Quotable Questionnaire’ section.

Kimberley issued off a cease and desist to Clinton and the publisher in April prior to it arriving in bookstores.

Nevertheless, she went on and promoted the book by appearing on morning shows like The Today Show and The View.

“She Persisted” currently maintains the top spot number on the New York Times best-selling children’s picture book list and on Amazon under the children’s women biographies section.

Kimberley’s Facebook page says that he is critical of former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation, where Chelsea serves as Vice Chair.
